Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how BaiyuTech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use LokHub (the “App”) and related services.
1. Information we collect
Account information
If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple-provided user identifier and, depending on your choices, your name and email address or Apple private relay address. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
Content and activity
We process information you choose to save, including watchlist status, watched episodes and seasons, viewing progress, calendar entries, language, region, and other preferences.
Technical and usage information
Our systems may process IP address, device and app information, timestamps, requested endpoints, crash or diagnostic information, and basic usage events to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
Advertising information
LokHub uses Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your device settings, consent choices, region, and applicable law, Google and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address, advertising interactions, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, prevent fraud in, or personalize ads. Where required, LokHub will request permission before allowing tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. You can decline tracking permission and can adjust applicable privacy choices in the App or device settings.
2. How we use information
- Provide search, discovery, watchlists, progress tracking, calendars, and synchronization.
- Authenticate users and maintain account security.
- Remember language, region, advertising, and app preferences.
- Operate, analyze, debug, protect, and improve LokHub.
- Display and measure advertising, subject to applicable consent and device settings.
- Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
- Comply with law and enforce our terms.
3. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, analyze, and support LokHub; with Apple for authentication; and with Google and its advertising partners for mobile advertising. The App may link to third-party services such as YouTube or watch providers. Those services process information under their own policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of assets.
4. Data retention
We retain account and user-generated activity while your account remains active and as needed to provide the service. After an account deletion request is verified, we delete or de-identify associated personal information within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before routine deletion.
5. Your choices and rights
You may update certain preferences in the App, control tracking in iOS Settings, and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable. To delete your account, use the in-app control or visit our Account Deletion page. We may need to verify your request.
6. Children
LokHub is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
7. International processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as LokHub or applicable law changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. We will provide additional notice when required.
